Press release
Designed for bearing, chassis and industrial greases, the additive is blended in during grease manufacture and backed by independent lubricant test data.

CHARLOTTE, NC — October 23, 2026 — Graphene Integrations today released its Graphene Grease Additive for manufacturers of bearing, chassis and industrial greases. The additive is blended into the grease during manufacture and is meant for slow-moving, heavily loaded parts such as bearings, pins, bushings and couplings.
Where grease earns its keep
Grease protects parts that are hard to reach and often run under shock loads. In independent testing at Univar's Houston lab, the graphene lubricant additive this product is based on showed up to 42% less wear and a 26% higher weld load than the lubricant without graphene. Graphene's thin, slippery layers are known for helping keep loaded metal surfaces apart, which is why grease makers have been watching the material.
“Grease goes where nobody wants to go back and re-lube. If graphene can help a grease protect a bearing longer, it has to be easy to blend first, so that's how we built it, and we let the independent test numbers do the talking.”
Made for the grease kettle
The graphene is supplied pre-mixed in an oil-based carrier, graphene integrated into oleic acid and monomer, so it can go into the grease kettle with the base oil and thickener. Typical dosing is 1% to 7% by weight, depending on the job. Performance depends on the thickener, base oil and additive package, so each grease is tested against the maker's current product.
Formats
The additive is available in a 14 oz cartridge for small trials and 5 gallon pails for production, with bulk on request. A technical data sheet is available. It is patent pending, made in the USA and contains no carbon black, and the graphene is never supplied as a dry powder.

About Graphene Integrations
Graphene Integrations, formerly Graphene America, is a US graphene manufacturer based in Charlotte, NC. The company makes graphene and supplies it pre-mixed in water, solvents, resins and oils, never as a dry powder, so manufacturers can add it to products and processes they already run. Its products are patent pending and made in the USA. Learn more about Graphene Integrations.
