Graphene Manufacturing Projects

Stainless steel mixer blending black graphene dispersion, with sample jars in front

Graphene Integrations makes graphene in the USA and integrates it into materials manufacturers already use: water, solvents, resins and oils. Below is an overview of our projects, with what we have tested and what is still in development.

Verified results

Graphene in Construction: Our graphene concentrate increased concrete's compressive strength by 67% in testing at a dose of about 1%. See graphene in concrete. We are extending this work to graphene rebar, which is in development and not yet a product.

Graphene in Aerospace and Military: With Advanced Armor Research Group (AARG), we developed graphene-integrated polymers and composites that were evaluated with V50 ballistic testing at NTS Chesapeake in Belcamp, MD. See commercial aerospace and armor composites.

Lubricants: A graphene-integrated lubricant reduced wear by up to 42% and raised weld load by 26% in independent testing at Univar's Houston lab. See the press release.

Car care: We developed four graphene-enhanced car care products with ITW for its Rain-X and Black Magic brands. See the ITW case study.

Data center coolants: ThermaGraph™, our coolant for indoor water loops, showed a +6% to +18% higher convective heat transfer coefficient than a glycol baseline in internal pumped-loop lab tests. See data center coolants.

Research and development areas

These are areas where graphene is being researched and where we supply graphene dispersions for testing. We don't yet publish test data for them.

Graphene in Electronics: thermal management, conductive inks and coatings, sensors. See graphene in electronics.

Graphene in Energy Storage: conductive additives for battery and supercapacitor electrodes. See energy storage.

Graphene in Healthcare: research into sensors, diagnostics and medical materials. See graphene in healthcare.

Graphene for Environmental Solutions: research into filtration, spill cleanup and environmental monitoring. See environmental cleanup.

Graphene in Food Packaging: barrier films and coatings. Graphene shipping containers for food are a future project. See food packaging.

Graphene in Textiles and Hunting Gear: heat-spreading, conductive and durable fabrics and coatings. See graphene in fabric and hunting and outdoor gear.

How we supply graphene

We sell graphene only pre-dispersed in a liquid carrier, never as flakes or dry powder: water, solvents, resins, oils or the carrier your process needs. Manufacturers add it like any other liquid ingredient. Each product ships with a spec sheet and SDS. Pricing and samples are by quote: request a quote, samples or a spec sheet.

Industries we work with

Concrete and construction, lubricants and oils, coatings and car care, plastics and composites (including armor composites), aerospace and data center cooling, for manufacturers across the US. See graphene integration partners.

Frequently asked questions

Where is Graphene Integrations' graphene made?
In the USA. Our operation, from R&D to production, is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and we supply manufacturers nationwide.
Do you sell graphene powder?
No. We supply graphene only pre-dispersed in the carrier your product uses, such as water, solvents, resins or oils, so it mixes in evenly.
Which projects have test data?
Concrete (67% higher compressive strength at about a 1% dose in testing), lubricants (up to 42% less wear and 26% higher weld load in independent testing at Univar's Houston lab), V50-tested armor composites with AARG, four ITW car care products, and ThermaGraph™ coolants (+6% to +18% convective heat transfer coefficient vs a glycol baseline in internal pumped-loop tests).
Is graphene rebar available?
Not yet. Graphene rebar is in development, as are graphene shipping containers for food. They are not products today.
How much does graphene cost?
Pricing depends on the product, carrier and volume, so it is by quote. Start with R&D samples through our quote form.
